Backwoods Bites — Northwood Game Haven

Chef's special

🛻Northwood Derby New2 onlyPhone sideways, one driver per end. Hold to drive, double-tap to jump, flip in the air — land on the other driver's head. Wall rides, wheelies, thirteen arenas. 🦝Hollow Log Hustle New2 onlyPhone sideways. Raccoons, skunks and bats crawl out of the hollow logs — bump the dock from below to knock them dizzy, boot them into the creek, and grab golden perch before the other player. 🦅Eagle Eye New2–4Every card shares exactly one picture with the middle card — Stash, a Toppers pie, cheese, canoes. Spot it first and the card's yours. 🪚Chainsaw Carvers New2–4A rhythm race. Tap each spot as the ring closes and your saw reveals the statue inside — an otter first, then bears, eagles and more. 🦦Otters @ Odds New2–4Tap to kick up the river, dodge the fishing hooks, ice and snag rocks. Grab a fish for a bubble. Last otter swimming wins. 🎩Odd Otter Out New2–4Dress your otter first. Find the exact hat, scarf, cloak, pants, boots and specs on your list among the near-misses. Best of five.

Quick bites · under a minute

🔔Dinner Bell2–4Wait for the supper club bell, then slap your button first. Jump the gun and you're out. 🪢Chippewa Tug2–4Tap-off tug of war. Pull the flag over your line — losers go in the river. 🐿️Chipmunk Chase2–4Whack the chipmunks, never the skunk. Same burrows for everyone. 🧊Pond Bumpers2–4Bumper cars on a frozen pond. Hold to turn, ram the others through the ice before it melts.

Shareables

🛷Snowmobile Trails2–4Carve a track through fresh snow and cut the others off. Last sled moving wins. ⛳Putt-Putt Pines New2–4Mini golf, taking turns. Pull back and let go — dodge the lake, the sand trap and the lumber-mill log. Three holes, fewest strokes wins.

🫧Bubble Duel New2 onlyA bubble field at each end. Big pops and drops push extra rows onto the other player. Pick your look:🐸 Pond Poppers 🍄 Forest Frenzy

🐟Fish Fry Tab2–4Friday fish fry math race. First right total scores; first to 7. 🫐Trail Mix2–4Memory match. Flip two, keep your pairs, go again on a match.

Fireside strategy · think it over

🪨Otterly Odd New2 onlySixteen river stones, all different. You pick the stone your opponent has to place. Four in a line sharing any one thing wins. 🦦Otter Cairns New2 onlyOtters really do stack stones. Drop yours on a cairn, scoop it, lay it back down square by square. Four of your color on top in a line wins. 🦫Beaver Run New2 onlyRace across the marsh. Move one square, or build a beaver dam to slow the other player down — but never wall them in. 🪵Log Jam New2 onlyPull a log off the edge and shove it back in — the whole row slides. Five of your paws in a line wins. 🌰Pinecone Pile New2 onlyBuild a pinecone pyramid together. Squares of your color win back pinecones; whoever crowns the pile wins. 🍁Forest Four New2 onlyPine, acorn, leaf, mushroom. Block the other player's tokens and be the one to finish a row, column or patch with all four. 🛶Canoe Crossing New2 onlyYour lanes cross theirs. Paddle over their canoes to send them back to the dock. First to bring four home. 🐾Tic-Tac-Paw2 onlyStash vs Juniper. Three in a row; the starter swaps each round.

Solo plates · one player
